I am droopy dog from Hanna Barbera(sp?)...

Blah blah blah
Dude, I have good reasons for not giving my mom my number here at work. She calls me on my cell phone today, so I pick it up, thinking it's something important. Turns out that she can't turn on the TV! So I take a deep breath, and proceed to tell her how to go about it. She THEN proceeds to tell me how I need to take her here and there and everywhere tonight, tomorrow, and Sun... WTF dude, HELLO, I am at work!!! Snd I'm starting to get frustrated because she just keeps talkin and talkin and I'm trying to talk but she won't let me. I can't raise my voice because, like I said, I'm at work. So I just sit there...wait for her to finish, and say, okay...I'll see you at home later. I swear, sometimes she isn't aware that I'm working now too, like her. Cuz when I call HER at work..even to tell her something important or to ask her something, she is extremely short w/ me and says, can't you see I'm at work?! Grrrr.... And I hate it because the next time she calls my phone, I won't wanna pick it up...but I have to. Too many crazy things have happened in the last year for me to ignore a family call... But if she had my work line? That's be it man, calls like every 5 minutes..."TV's not workin, I heard a click on the toilet, the fridge isn't AS cold as normal..." Ahhh, if there were only a TV show about my life.

Anyone wanna Seabiscuit?
Lately, I've been tempted to go and see that movie "Seabiscuit." The one about the horse...yeah, that one. My reasons? Well...here they are. Okay, it's a movie about a horse, people that own the horse, and a little guy that rides the horse. What on earth could be spectacular about that? Well, for one thing, it has already gotten great reviews...I don't really buy in to reviews, because they could be saying what anyone who claims to be a critic says, but that's not the point, they say it is the movie is possibly the MOVIE OF THE YEAR...now THAT's saying something...which raises my interest just a tad. Another thing, movie content...the movie is about a freakin horse and horseracing... Now having such simplistic subject matter means the movie must have some incredible writing in it...and mind you, it is based on a best seller...so there HAS to be something there. That I would say would probably be the most dominant reasoning behind wanting to go see it. I love well-written movies...because if there isn't much action, that's the only way to make a great film. And lastly...it's about my people...the short kind! I gotta go support baby!

Good night out
Last night I went to a little b-day gathering. We ate at this AWESOME Thai restaurant called Soladang in South Pas...if you haven't tried it...it is a "MUST EAT!" Great food, PLUS they got this one HELLA cute server...too bad she's betrothed, damn. Afterward, we hit up the Ice House...this comedy club out there where V works. The main act was Brad Garett(sp?), he's the big huge dude from "Everybody Loves Raymond" (I Love that show). But the other two were big stand-up comics I never really heard of, not being a big connossieur of stand-up comedy. But all three...FUNNY AS HELL...I was dying...they were soooooooooooo funny. And to quote a friend of mine, "I was laughing sooooo hard, I swear at one point... a little bit of pee came out." And no, I'm not quoting that because that's what happened, but that's just how funny they were. I highly recommend going to see some stand-up comedy...it's great. So it was a great b-day celebration, good company and some good laughs...

"When in doubt...sing..."
